Interview Project

Due November 20
Call it networking, call it mentorship, or just call it making friends, it helps to know people who do what you want to do.  The independent interview gives students a platform - or an excuse - to introduce themselves to someone in their specific field and ask the questions they find most important.  The interview may be conducted via email, telephone/Skype, or in person, and students will turn in a 2-3 page paper summarizing their interview and reflecting on the experience in relation to their career goals, dreams, and actions.  NB: If you decide to record the interview, you must check with your interviewee and agree on whether or how the recording can be shared. You will share with the class what you learned in your interview and how or what it makes you think about your own career path.
